History[]

Lois Lane was hit by a truck and sent to the hospital. While Superman raced to track down a surgeon to help her, Lois dreamt that she received a blood transfusion from Superman. The transfusion gave her superhuman powers and she became Superwoman. A criminal scientist named Doctor Skowl captured Superman but Lois rescued him before Skowl could kill him. Lois woke up to learn that Superman found the surgeon to save her life, and that her adventure was all just a dream.

Note: Having survived Crisis on Infinite Earths along with her husband, in Post-Crisis/New Earth continuity, Lois became sick with a mysterious illness, and died on a duplicate, underpopulated Earth-Two.
