A gifted athlete who was barred from professional competition after seriously injuring an opponent, Crusher Crock turned to a life of a crime, using sports equipment as weaponry.
He clashed with the original Green Lantern on a number of occasions, also joining the Injustice Society of the World, where he met the Huntress (formerly the first Tigress), the two of them falling in love and often acting as a criminal duo. His daughter, the new Tigress, is a member of the current Injustice Society. He himself lives on, in the form of an army of clones created by the Council.
Death[]
Following the Final Crisis, Sportsmaster teamed up with General Immortus, who had formed a cult consisting of several c-list supervillains. He fed them, in return for worship and enhanced powers. Their latest recruit, the Human Flame, doublecrossed him, and in his escape, he killed Sportsmaster.
