Rac Shade, the Changing Man, was the leader of the Secret Seven. Shade and the others were recruited by Cyborg as part of an effort to stop an apocalyptic war between the Amazons and the Atlanteans that has devastated Europe. After discovering that team member Enchantress was an Amazon spy, Shade was lost to the madness zone inside his M-vest.
