Six members of the Legion of Super-Heroes (Star Boy, Colossal Boy, Brainiac 5, Element Lad, Chameleon Boy and Wildfire) joined Superboy to stop him. Truggs used the dial to become Cyclone, High-Roller, Landslide and Smasher. He also used the dial to transform Superboy's friends, Pete Ross (Megaton), Lana Lang (Wisp), Bash Bashford (Man-Mountain) and Lisa Davis (Blizzard) into super-powered villains to help him, but Superboy and the Legion defeated them and Superboy's friends were restored to normal.
