Lady Blackhawk was one of the two female members of the paramilitary organization of pilots called the Blackhawks. In 1959, she was whisked away in a time storm and ended up in modern times during the event known as Zero Hour. She made herself at home in this new age and was for a time employed at Guy Gardner's bar Warriors. Then, she started to work as a pilot for Oracle (Barbara Gordon) and eventually was the one who dubbed Oracle's female operatives 'The Birds of Prey'.
