The universe was subjected to another crisis when the embodiment of death, Nekron, attacked using the Black Lantern Corps, an army of resurrected evil zombies wielding power rings. Every person who had ever been dead before was vulnerable to immediate zombification. J'onn wsa resurrected and admitted to the Black Lantern Corps. At the end of the Blackest Night, J'onn was revived by the Entity.
