Dawnfire, an African heroine with pyrotechnic powers, co-founded the hero team The Kingdom together with seven other African heroes. But after operating for five years, the team disbanded due to a mission that led to thousands of deaths. Dawnfire retired and was later murdered by a serial killer called Massacre.
