She had the same shadow-manipulating abilities as her mother. She joined the R.E.C.R.U.I.T.S. and helped battle the rogue Jiv Reduu when he was rejected from the team and began murdering the others. Before Lydea joined the L.E.G.I.O.N., her mother had been a member. Seeking revenge over Lyrissa, the Computer Tyrants of Colu brainwashed Lydea into killing her own mother, a plot that sadly succeeded. Note: A corrupted version of Lydea Mallor appeared earlier than the original version. This was one of Darkseid's Dark Servants. She first appeared in Legion of Super-Heroes vol 2 #290 (Aug 1982).
