He became the superhero, Damage. He was a member of several superhero teams: Titans , Young Justice , Justice Society of America and Freedom Fighters. Grant was killed by the resurrected Jean Loring. As a Black Lantern, he somehow retained his own willpower, and sacrificed himself to destroy the other Black Lanterns.
