Priscilla Rich was the first Cheetah. She was a debutante and thief whose terrible feeling of inferiority periodically caused her Cheetah self to seize control of her personality. She developed a hatred of Wonder Woman, and many of her crimes were aimed specifically at damaged the Amazon Princess, however Wonder Woman put a stop to her schemes every time.
Eventually, Rich was imprisoned on Transformation Island. She escaped again and joined seven other super criminals to escape and form Villainy Inc, but this venture, too, was foiled by Wonder Woman.
