The Legion of Super-Rejects were six Legion applicants who came from the same worlds as existing Legionnaires. The Rejcets thought they were better than their counterparts but, when it came to a battle, they lost out because the real Legionnaires used teamwork - a tactic that the Rejects hadn't thought of.
