Douglas Hutton, aka, the British Bat, was a small-time super-villain. During a battle with Starman, he broke the hero's leg.[1] The British Bat later encountered the Justice Society of America. The JSA easily defeated him, along with some assistance from the Star-Spangled Kid and her "sidekick" S.T.R.I.P.E.
