Arin Sur, sister of Abin Sur, was in a relationship with Sinestro that produced a daughter, Soranik. She died in the sewers of Korugar, but first she secretly gave her daughter to the Natus, who raised her as their own, Soranik Natu. Arin was buried on her homeworld, Ungara.
During Blackest Night, Arin was revived as a zombie member of the Black Lantern Corps. Sinestro and Hal Jordan were forced to put her down for good (along with her brother, Abin Sur), by combining their power.
