When he first joined the L.E.G.I.O.N., one of his fellow recruits was rumored to have been a traitor. Due to being the lone Khund, he was imnmediately suspected. He was quickly cleared of this by telepathic probe. Soon they found that his fellow recruit, Ig'nea G'odd was the guilty one. When Amon attempted to return home to Khundia, he discovered that his reputation was sullied by his participation with the team. He left his people again to become a mercenary, which brought him in pursuit of his former commander, Vril Dox II, and he was part of the team that chased Dox to Earth after he was ousted from L.E.G.I.O.N. New Earth/Post-Crisis
