Adellca was partnered with Lantern Vegar, and both were assigned to Space Sector House 3595, awaiting potential calls for help. They were among the first of the Sector Houses to fall as an ancient enemy of the Green Lantern Corps struck. The Gigorr tore the side out of the Sector House as it swallowed the Green Lanterns whole.
Approximately fifty Lanterns were absorbed into the Gigorr's stomach lining as the beast fed upon their power ring energies. The Guardians of the Universe assigned Honor Guard Lantern Guy Gardner and his hand-picked group of Lanterns to eliminate the beast.
Losing three of their group, Gardner and Theodoric were unable to save their fellow Lanterns as separation from the Gigorr was fatal. They incinerated the beast from within, forever ending the threat. The power rings of the deceased Lanterns were now free to seek out their successors. -Green Lantern: Emerald Warriors #12
A fallen Lantern, Adellca will be memorialized in the Crypts of the Green Lantern Corps on Oa.
